Negotiating Committee update 8/15

This week we met with the company for several days. The company’s agenda appears to be based on flexibility and control. The intent of our committee is to MAKE GAINS that we feel will protect our membership and there families. We are tired of the takeaways. We believe with your continued support we will prosper and overcome.

The Time is Here!

Yesterday marked the beginning of the 2008 negotiations. We started face to face meetings with the company and initial proposals were exchanged. There are times when Local 735 has to fight to hold on to what they have, but conditions today are different. We strongly feel that this is a time for all of us to make gains. Our futures depend on it. We’ve got a lot of ground to make up. It’s Time to stand up and be heard! Your committee will stand strong and believes you will stand with us.
