Red Cross Blood Drive

We all expect blood to be there for us, but barely a fraction of those who can give do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood. And that time is all too often unexpected.

From its beginning, the American Red Cross has formed a community of service, of generous, strong and decent people bound by beliefs beyond themselves. The honor, spirit and resources of the American people comes forth with neighbors helping neighbors in need — during earthquakes, floods, fires, storms — and also for the deeply personal and often quiet disasters that require a gift of blood.

IAM Local 735 will host a blood drive for the American Red Cross,
Wednesday, Dec. 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
at the Union Hall
1844 Air Lane Drive Nashville, Tennessee 37210
Phone: 615-885-1756, Fax: 615-885-0314 map

All blood drive participants will receive a packet of custom greeting cards, while supplies last.

Great Idea! During the holidays there's usually a shortage. With all the rushing around for the holidays people don't think about giving blood until something happens that is a reminder.
I have a challenge today at the strike of every new hour that you stop what your doing and say a prayer. I'll be praying that negotiations will go well and for a fair contract. I pray our lives will soon get back to what we consider normal. God Bless, may you all be health and safe. Tina

It seems vought is still too greedy. Talks stall again so it just shows that we must have made too much money for them this past year. We will survive because we will outlast, outwhit and outplay.
