I think the Union needs to make sure that Gulfstream, Airbus and Lockheed see all the lies in print about the succesful deliveries. These customers should also understand how much less Nashville is paid compared to Dallas and how a low ball offer on top of that led to their lack of deliveries. Sure wish someone would buy us out because there may be bad blood for a long time.
I am ready and needing to go back to work. 28% of us voted for the contract the first time around. We have respected the union and not crossed the picket line. But I believe this is the wrong time for us to be playing chicken with the company. The other plants in vought has the 401K: right? I am not willing to spend months out on the picket line and then go back for what they were offering the first time. Get the best offer you can but let us vote on it and go back to work. Do not walk away from the negotiations.
The union memebers want more INFORMATION about what is going on. I personally am tired of only getting have of the facts. If the international has taken over then YOU NEED TO BE TELLING US THIS. Is it true that the committee walked out? I think that the company is not the only one playing games.
Who is negotiating for this local? The International doesn't give a hoot one way or the other! Mr Worrell needs to take the Lead in these negotiations and do what is best for THIS local, and stop being led around by these Bigshot Union officials.
Somebody needs to explain to me why the International has taken over "our" negotiations. This is starting to smell fishy. As a dues paying member I want to know what's going on.
This comes as no suprise! The company doesn't care about any of us. We all have worked hard and made this company millions. Yet we are still not appreciated. Lets not forget about the (star bonus) and this last years (gaining grounds) bonus that we have been short changed on, and just look at what they offered us on the contract. Oh boy, the company really had to of stayed up late at night to low ball us this bad on our contract. Maxie you need to realize that times have changed. The old days of buddy buddy with Bill S. is over. We have a real UNION now and we are stronger than ever!!! We have and will stand strong on our issues. NO TAKE AWAYS. We will still stand and walk, day in and day out, rain or shine at each gate. We are here for the long haul Jan. Feb. Mar. whenever but one day longer. Brothers and sisters you all make me so proud to be part of this (our) union. Stand strong moma said that they would be days like these.lol.
As for me I'll be looking for my letter enrolling me in the Jelly Bean of the month club. (haha Lampoon's Christmas Vacation)

If your reasoning is just a wage for work then you'll just work till you die !If you have no self respect for yourself then you won't receive it either !
