IAM video on Negotiations

This is a great video the IAM made on negotiations. Although it's an overview, much of it applies to our contract. Our negotiators went through the Negotiations class at the Winpinsinger Center, and it educated our committee to stand strong for a good contract.

We're always pushing harder for good contracts across the nation. Our International has worked hard to give our locals the tools they need to be successful, whether it's at the negotiating table, or on the picket lines.

After seeing that video LL 735 has more than enough strength behind us to get our fair contract, without the takeaways that Vought is trying to impose.

Now the Democrats are coming back into power in the political arena and that means less of the Republican takeaways that made the wealthy richer, while punishing the average Americans earnings and then giving incentive checks to "spur" the economy. Almost familiar as that ratification bonus that was offered to LL 735. It wasn't going to buy the Republicans back in office, just like it won't buy a contract.

The fat piggies are going to have to learn to trim down those belt lines that have expanded.

Here is a link to a page that tells about the Winpisinger Center, where the Negotiating Committee received their training. Be sure to watch the video too.

My greatest fear, going into re-negotiations, is thay the Vought Corporation, still sees this Tennessee Local as backward redneck hillbillys, that follow this state of Tennessee, voting for race and guns, not brains and ability! The Civil War has been over for 140+ years, so it is time to join the educated majority. Your Union supports Democrats, and represents all dues paying members regardless of race religion, or gender. The next 4 years will show the inteligence of their choices!

I find it ironic that Vought has waited until 2 days after their 3rd. Quarter earnings report, to resume negotiations! REMEMBER the way they COOKED THE BOOKS on the last performance bonus review last Febuary.......then preceede to hand out large bonuses to salried, and especially big bonuses to the BEANCOUNTERS!
