BIG thanks for support!

We were visited yesterday by Brenda Clanton of Waynesboro, who is the former President of LL 2325. She was laid off from her job two years ago, and has lost her seniority. She's obviously never forgotten her union roots, however. She dropped off four cases of water, and personally donated $200 for our hardship fund.

Thanks, Brenda, from the bottom of our hearts.

Also, District Lodge 711 has donated $500 to the hardship fund, and several of our members have donated their strike checks to help out.

Folks, that's what solidarity is all about. Thanks to EVERYONE!

i bet the reason vought hasn't posted anything is because they are russling up a contract that they think we will go for. we deserve only our best and final offer !!!

Thank You Krispy Kreme!
Last night my hubby and I stopped by Krispy Kreme donuts on Nolensville Rd. & Thompson Ln., We purchased donuts and they donated donuts to our brothers and sisters.
While making our rounds delivering donuts and chatting with all the picketers, Brother Rick and his wife was delivering home-made beef stew.
Many Thanks to Rick & his Wife!
This is the true meaning of our Union, it's family.
Stay Strong My Brothers & Sisters!!

Something to think about!
If you have an outstanding loan on a Vehicle/Motorcycle/Boat/Camper, and you have GAP insurance they will help you with making your monthly payments while on strike.
Please check your contract.
Stay Strong Brothers & Sisters!!

Great letters of support from Europe. Looks like we and the company are going to get back to the table in a few weeks, that's great ! I hope we brothers and sisters will know when we are winning or losing, as we get another contract to vote on.. Looking forward to getting back to work. Looking forward to retirement. Getting out of and away from this company will be a wonderful thing.

Mr Chuck and Neg. committee,

Why are we members just now finding out about the company letter dated Oct. 22 ? I know this is a scare tactic, but we members should have known about this before the Oct. 29 deadline.

Our own union members donated over $600 of their own money on Monday to the hardship fund.

WHY DID THE LEADERSHIP NOT TELL US ABOUT COMPANY PRESENTING CONTRACT BACK TO US, THIS IS A DEMOCRACY, WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD AND COMMITTEE COULD HAVE SAID NOT TO TAKE IT, BUT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD, PLEASE DO THE JOB YOU WERE ELECTED TO DO,THIS APPEARS AS DECEPTION, IM SURE YOU WILL NOT ALLOW THIS TO BE PRINTED EITHER,

The company's posting of the letter on the 30th indicates another attempt at a psych job.

They want us to think the Union is keeping things from us therefore they did not post it until AFTER it expired.

We already voted down the LBFO so what did they really think we would say?? They were HOPING we would say "Golly gee we changed our minds" (done in my best shop floor hillbilly voice)

They just posted that dumb letter to the union today and uh we still say NO! If we wanted that crappy contract we would have said so...ya think? Unless they come up with a better offer we will continue to turn it down. Their next offer might involve a free turkey for one week only...you wanna vote on that. This negotiation committee is doing a great job and will inform us when a better contract has arrived. They know what we will stand for and not stand for and only when they change the offer will we agree to vote.

we wont fall for your tricks company bloggers. we stand united!!!

Why would the union post the letter. We voted that contract down and to put it before us again would be useless. If Vought can't offer something better I don't even want to hear about it. Stand strong and stick together. Love the pig!!!!!!!

We have VOTED down LBAF offer by 94% SO GET OVER IT maxie.

Just a thought for everyone to consider ! Boeing will go back to work most likely !Secondly, the Boeing strike put Steward & Millageville in layoff mode so I wonder whose really been crossing our pickett line ? I don't believe they are Union at those plants so , it might have been better to go to Nashville than getting laid-off ! Now , Boeing is probably going to be settled and guess who can go back home to go back to work ! Thirdly , now all of a sudden , they want to start talking again in 2 weeks ! That gives enough time for things to start flowing again and they loose a bunch of scabs !!!!This also might be the way they responded so quick with workers !!!!!!! Just a thought , all of you fill in the rest ! Lastly , don't get real excitied until it's over because you might just have to show them one more time that your serious about NO TAKEAWAYS ! BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST ! KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING ! Have you seen that list of scabs ? What a joke ! They have the bottom of the pile and I KNOW what they are able to do or not do !Stay United and you will win this one !REMEMBER ! This isn't 89 !From the OLD friend retired from management after 25 yrs !

What difference does it make when the company letter was posted? We had already given our answer to the LBFO. Would you vote for it if it were presented again? Thats what the company would like ,but I for one, think our negotiating commitee has better sense then to present it again.Matter of fact there may be some rule that keeps them from enen considering it again.Just hang in there and we will win in the end.

WHAT!!! The company offered us their LBFO again!!?? and we were not informed.
Come on people here's a reality check. We turned it down once. It's like looking in the toilet at something you just flushed and its back only to be flushed again.
Our Union is somewhat like a lawyer (not to offend the Union) they aren't going to contact you over every little thing. Other wise you both would be crazy.
There wasn't any underhanded dealing going on. All I can say is I think the committee has done a good job. If someone doesn't like what they have done they should run next time. Maxie if you want to offer something think outside the box. Offering the same old thing is like eating the same thing for lunch. It get old like your contract offer, Remember you can't bullsh## a bullsh##er and some of us on the floor are as good if not better than you.
